Indore's eagerly anticipated metro project is swiftly moving towards its commercial launch, with significant progress reported across various segments of the priority corridor. Five metro train sets, each composed of three coaches, have already arrived at the Gandhi Nagar depot, marking a crucial step in the city's urban transit development. Four of these sets are currently undergoing rigorous testing within the depot's premises, ensuring they meet all operational and safety standards before being introduced to the public.
The priority corridor, stretching 5.9 kilometers from Gandhi Nagar to the Super Corridor, is nearing completion, promising Indore's residents a new, efficient mode of transportation.
